Physical / Health
The changes women experience during menopause can be unique and even unexpected. As healthy women, we mostly don’t expect to have a disruption in our physical body. Even though we've heard about menopause, we are sometimes still surprised when these things begin happening to us!
Some women feel like they are “not themselves” as they experience sleep disruption, hot flashes, fluctuating emotions, etc.
From a purely physiological standpoint, the ovaries are simply beginning to decrease their functions of producing hormones and ovulating. This may or may not be a smooth transition – menopause is as varied as are women.
How do we respond (not react) when there are so many changes going on in our body? Well, the first step is just to acknowledge that the changes are happening and to know that addressing them proactively is this most empowering course of action. The old patterns of daily living, how you exercise, what you eat are most likely going to be outmoded at this time.
Here at www.MenopauseIsHot.com you’ll have a place to get information and guidelines for navigating the physical, emotional, and lifestyles aspect of menopause with an eye and heart to making this a wonderful time of your life!
