Being in alignment emotionally supports one's natural desire to live life to the fullest. Living a successful, purposeful, fulfilling life doesn't need to be difficult. Success and happiness are natural consequences of learning to create versus react to life and there's no more important time for this than during peri-menopause and menopause.
It's a time that can be wonderful and liberating or can be frightening and awful and to a large degree - it's up to you! Will you rehsist, fight, get depressed, and sink into a hole or will you take this journey on with joy, humor, positive expectation, and willingness to grow?
